About the event

In this event, Dr. Christine Utomo will discuss further about the meaning of "new path" as Czerny quoted Beethoven saying this after he composed his op. 28 sets. We will learn how Waldstein fits the "new path" characteristics,  and will discuss further about its connections with Beethoven's "freedom and joy" ideology, French revolutionary influences, and narratives on a hero characater.
